So you want to come to Bethlehem this weekend and don’t know what to do? We’ve got you covered!

Learn a little Bethlehem history on the Heritage Trail. This may be one of our last weekends where we see temperatures above 50F and aren’t plodding through snow, so enjoy the crisp autumn air on a tour that you can do at your own pace! Stop by the Historic Bethlehem Partnership to get started. With the use of handheld audio devices, the Heritage TrailTM allows participants to walk, run, or bike through three centuries of Bethlehem history. Stops along the trail include two National Historic Landmarks, Victorian era homes, and Bethlehem Steel buildings.

At the end of your tour, purchase a pie in their annual bake sale! Especially after you’ve enjoyed your tour, this is a great way to give back to the partnership and ensure that trails like yours continue to exist into the future. Plus, you get a pie and an entry in a $100 shopping spree for Downtown Bethlehem.

Stay in the Historic District for an early dinner at Tapas on Main. It’s an authentic Spanish tapas style restaurant right on Main Street of Bethlehem. (If you’re wondering what tapas are, they’re small plate and appetizer dishes from Spain) Be sure to get a nice assortment of little dishes and share them with a friend or two.

The Christmas decorations are almost out in Bethlehem and this evening won’t be too chilly, so take a walk through Main Street to enjoy the scenery and pop into a few stores to get a start on your holiday shopping.

After your day in the North Side of Bethlehem, venture across the bridge to the South Side where you are going to see Arthur Miller’s masterpiece play, The Crucible in Zoellner’s intimate Diamond Theatre. Tickets are $12 and expected to be worth every penny!

Hip-hop superstar Bow Wow is going to be at the Vision Bar at the Sand’s Event Center and if you get there before midnight, there’s no cover charge! Dress to impress and the bottle service comes highly recommended!

[your choice am/pm]

Head back to your hotel room at the Sand’s Hotel to rest up after a nice walk outside, a great play and a wild night at the Vision Bar. We’ll see you next weekend!
