We teased you earlier this week with all of the costume-y, Halloween events that are in our great city this weekend and now we finally have all the gory details for you! PS – you better have your costumes ready!
It is with great pleasure that the Witches of Bethlehem humbly present their third annual Witches Ball, an evening of fine dining, dancing and autumnal merriment for distinguished creatures of the night. Enjoy spirits with the spirits, where the drinks are free! Delight in a host of shameful earthly pleasures and entertainment– an evening of sin and pagan delights for those who dare to attend! Purchase your tickets here (and soon!) for tonight’s ball! The ball begins at 8pm and you’re encouraged to dance at the Bethlehem Masonic Lodge until 1am.
Register immediately right here. The race starts at 10am on Sunday if you think you can run in a costume. In the Halloween spirit, prizes will be awarded not just for the winners of the race but for the best costumes that we see you running in. These are the categories: Best couple or group costume, Best look alike, Most in-character runner, Scariest, Funniest, Costume most difficult to run in. Check back on Wednesday’s post if you need costume ideas!
After the end of the 5k, hang around to see the 91st Annual Halloween Parade in Historic Bethlehem. You’ll be treated to school groups, bands, and all sorts of the funniest and scariest costumes. It starts at 2pm, but if you want a good seat, we recommend that you arrive by 1:30pm to get curbside for all of the fun!
For the 21 and over costumed crowd, the Hotel Bethlehem is hosting a Haunted Masquerade Ball on Friday night from 9pm to midnight. There will be live music by the Trophy Husbands, Halloween cocktails and again, prizes for the best costumes!
If you’re tired of dressing up, don’t fret. The circus is in town and you can be equally entertained by other people in costume. The fun begins as soon as the audience enters Ringling Bros. Presents BARNUM BASH with a rockin’ Pre-show party happening directly on the arena floor. Party goers can learn fresh dance moves from Ringling Bros. clown DJ Dean, style in glitzy costumes, learn balancing and juggling skills, meet and take photos with circus stars, and even step behind the curtain for an exclusive backstage experience which includes an up-close look at the most exotic animal menagerie only at BARNUM BASH. Ringling Bros. Presents BARNUM BASH has assembled the most amazing international acts including The Mighty Dmytrio, Motorcycle Mania, Epic Asian Elephants, Wheel of Steel, and Hand Balancers. All are tricked-out for the circus party and ready to perform wild feats of wonders and strength, to contemporary pop music and in 21st century Barnum style. There are shows every day this weekend, plenty of time to catch the fun.
