If your kids are looking for one last outdoor hurrah before they need a hat and gloves, get them signed up for Bethlehem’s Bike and Boat trip!

The trip is going to start at the Sand Island West Boat Launch on Saturday, October 27th at 10am. That seems like awhile away now, but there are only 25 spaces for kids ages 12 to 15. Participants will get to bike down the Lehigh towpath and canoe down the Lehigh River between Bethlehem and Allentown’s Canal Park. They don’t want anyone getting hurt, so safety gear is going to be provided.

This event is cosponsored by the Wildlands Conservancy, formerly the Lehigh Valley Conservancy. They are a nonprofit organization focused on protecting and restoring our natural resources as well as educating the community on environmental issues.
