If you’re traveling to Bethlehem for the day, or whether you’re a lifetime resident looking for someone else to plan a day for you – you’ve come to the right place! We’ve got you covered from dawn to dusk, all you need to do is enjoy.

9am:

Eat breakfast at Jumbars. Their huge breakfast menu has something for everyone. If you’re still inspired from last weekend’s Vegfest, try the Tofu Omelet with zucchini, mushrooms, tomatoes, onions and spinach. To cure that breakfast sweet tooth, get a grilled duffin. Yes, a d-u-f-f-i-n. A cinnamon sugar donut shaped like a muffin. For $2, add Nutella. You won’t regret it.

10:30am:

Walk off the duffin. Historic Bethlehem vendors are keeping their doors open through the construction in a special promotion that we’re calling “We Dig Main Street.” For every $10 you spend, you get a contest entry to win awesome prizes like a trip to Florida, an iPad, and some awesome gift baskets. Participating stores include Briana’s Boutique, Designer Consigner, Artfully Elegant and many, many more.

1:30pm:

Leave the lovely Historic District to explore the Southside. This entire weekend, SteelStacks is hosting Blast Furnace Blues where they’ll welcome some of the finest contemporary and traditional blues artists from around the region and throughout the nation. Check out their website for the full list of artists for the day, on Saturday they have as many as three groups performing at once.

5:00pm:

Walk up through the Southside and make your way to Looper’s Famous Martini Bar where you can relax inside or on their back patio and try to pick just one (or, ok, maybe two) martinis from their list of 500.

6:00pm:

After you’ve whet your appetite with a scrumptious martini, walk across the street to Molinari’s. If you guessed that it’s Italian, you’re correct. But here’s what the owner has to say about its uniqueness: “The goal is to provide food in the Italian tradition. And that is a very wide category because food in Italy is regional so food can be very different from region to region, but there are some basic characteristics for all Italian food. It is not overwhelmingly huge portions. It is always fresh, always simple, and always flavorful. Our hope is to be able to deliver food in that way and in a very welcoming and hospitable environment. We’re going with an all-Italian wine list, Italian craft beers, freshly made pasta.” We recommend the Bucatini alla Matriciana (La Quercia Guanciale – San Marzano Tomato – Peperoncini….we think that’s Italian for delicious).

9:00pm:

Cap off your night at Vision Bar where you can enjoy hit music as well as a live performance by DJ Cova this Saturday at 10pm. Grab another drink and a dance partner before calling it quits.

We think that’s what you call a perfect day!
