The Downtown Bethlehem Association is teaming up with the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce to bring you the hottest night of fashion in the area.
The Bethlehem Fashion Show is going to feature the styles of Downtown Bethlehem boutiques, but at 5:30pm we’ll be starting a cocktail hour with an open bar, appetizers, and food for purchase at scrumptious chef stations. Meet boutique owners, the Bethlehem Mounted Police and get your picture taken on the Style Wall like a celebrity.
The show will include the latest fashions of these Downtown Boutiques:
The Gem Shop
Designer Consigner Boutique
Loose Threads Boutique
Homebase Skate Shop
Apotheca Salon and Boutique
Mixed Bag on Main
Watch models strut the runway at the Celtic Classic Grand Pavilion, in the latest fall and winter fashions from these local boutiques before they’ve even hit the rack. After the show, you’ll even be able to shop at a private “attendees-only” event with a cash bar, more food and the models whose hair and make-up will be done by local salon staff.
Let’s meet a few of those models now!
He works at Dunkin Donuts, is a full-time dancer and is interested in launching his own clothing or fashion line to be picked up by a major brand. Even though he’s never modeled professionally, we think he’s pretty photogenic and he says his style makes him a good print model. You’ll see him styling clothing from the Homebase skate shop at the Fashion Show and he’s looking forward to meeting new people and maybe opening doors to new opportunities in modeling, music or dance.
A friend of Ivan, Ramel also works at Dunkin Donuts as an assistant manager. He dances as well and recently won the B104 dance competition (Congratulations Ramel! We can’t wait to see those moves on the runway…). He’s always been interested in fashion and decided, why not? when he was asked to model for the show. He’s excited to meet new people and fashion designers in the area and thinks the show is going to be a lot of fun (He’s got that right!)
This won’t be Darius’ first dip into modeling, he says that he’s been active in fashion for some time now. He says it hasn’t been anything serious, but have you seen that headshot? We don’t believe it! When he’s not gracing the camera, he’s a student at Cornell. Brains and beauty? We’re sure to see a spike in ticket sales now!
Briana and Amanda Hoffert:
You’re not seeing double, we actually have these gorgeous twins lined up to model at the fashion show! They’re freshmen at Northampton County Community College taking their general studies classes, with a healthy side of modeling! They’ve been photographed before by Image International in Allentown. They can’t wait to show off the clothing from our local boutiques, but good luck keeping them straight!
A full-time student at Northampton County Community College, this model tells us that he wasn’t always such a hunk. “I was the tall, skinny, and shy kid throughout high school,” but by the end of high school he started to make some changes. Tim is now a fitness aficionado, and boy has it payed off! He likes hunting, fishing, biking, hiking and is looking to try even more adventurous sports. When he’s not training others, he’s studying Criminal Justice and hopes to pursue a career in the military or law enforcement. So, why’s he modeling? Not only is the fashion show in his backyard, he wants to inspire others to transform themselves the way he has. While this will be his modeling debut, we sure hope it’s not his finale!
As soon as you stop drooling over these beauties, mark the Bethlehem Fashion Show on your calendars! September 22! See you there!
